This feature is similar to the shop options available on Instagram and Facebook, which guide users through a product listing within the app, enabling them to select items and proceed to payment. Withthe new Shopping button for WhatsApp Business Accounts, businesses can make it more convenient for customers to shop and purchase products within the app, further enhancing the customer experience and increasing sales.

Where is the Shopping Button on WhatsApp?

To find the Shopping Button on WhatsApp, visit a WhatsApp Business Account that you've previously communicated with, such as a local grocery or bakery. If the seller has uploaded a catalog to their Business Account, you will see a storefront symbol next to their account name. Clicking on the icon will bring you to the catalog, which showcases the products available for purchase from the business. If you're interested in a particular item, simply tap the "Message Business" button beneath its image to ask any questions you may have. Note that the storefront symbol will only be visible if the business has uploaded a catalog to their WhatsApp Business Account.

Only WhatsApp Business Account holders have access to the Shopping Button. If you don't see it on your account, you may need to create a WhatsApp Business Account.
